It doesn't work, but you can use google cardboard on the S5. I have the HooToo VR 2 (https://www.amazon.com/HooToo-3D-Headset-Magnetic-Trigger/dp/B01FU98R1E) and it works well. Be careful because my S5 has issues with getting too hot when using vr for too long.
