This builds totals up to approximately $475 before taxes and rebates. This will handle a moderate amount of AutoCAD, coding, virtualization, and rendering. The system runs on a six-core processor with SMT. The build also comes with an appropriate mid-tier GPU. It meets the 4GB VRAM requirement for the AutoCAD application as well as DX11 and DX12 support. Also, a 500GB HP NVMe SSD was also included for quick boot, load, save, and transfer times while only costing $45. The motherboard is also a great B450 motherboard, with space for possible overclocking or boosting. 16GB of RAM clocked at 3000MHz is also included for a better AutoCAD experience. The CX650W is a reputable power supply from Corsair. It is not modular, but its quality is above average for this price point. Finally, to seal everything off, the Masterbox Lite 3.1 was chosen for the case. This case has decent aesthetics and efficient airflow for a sub-$50 mATX case. Do note that this takes advantage of the Newegg Black Friday sales, so prices may change. If you need a new build list close to the date of purchase, one can be provided.

This is $100 over budget per unit, however, it gives the systems more portability. The MSI Laptop will not have the same degree of performance as the tower systems, but will still meet or exceed requirements for AutoCAD and other cyber and design related tasks.

This HP Prebuilt is the best I can come up with near $500/unit.

This is similar to the DIY build, just 8GB instead of 16GB of RAM. (You can easily find an extra 8GB stick for like $30.)

Hope everything goes well.

Building your own PC will give you the best bang for your buck, and it's not too hard. I built my own PC a year or so ago, and hit no snags. It's also a good way to ensure you have the best quality components in your system, especially motherboard and power supply. PC Part Picker has lots of good builds, everything from super expensive to entry level. Here's a build that might interest you.

For building the PC, Linus Tech Tips and Bitwit are both awesome resources. In particular I followed along with this video from Bitwit when I built my own PC.

Pre-builts are out there as well, of course. I recommend finding one with an SSD already in it if you go this route. SSDs are really becoming necessary and not all computers include them. Maybe something like this? You can also try to snag a deal on Craigslist, there are quite a few gaming PCs in my area, hopefully some in yours as well.

So I would say this is a okay deal. Problem is the cpu is a 6th gen cpu which would be hard to find an upgrade. 2nd the gpu is a few generations old , may cause fps issues in triple a games.

I just brefiely looked on amazon and for an extra 150 you could get this

Here is a pretty good prebuilt for the price. It will crush some fortnite and should be decent at Siege. Also with a prebuilt you wanna buy from a company with good customer support as they will be the holders of the systems warranty.

FYI It is very easy to build your own PC. It might seem intimidating but its really rewarding and you get much more bang for your buck.

Mm kind of tough but this game does not require much power to run.

This should be able to run the game at 1080p 60+fps medium-high settings.

The general consensus is yes, building it yourself would be much cheaper. However, since it you’ve mentioned that you’re not too confident with building yourself, a prebuilt is probably your best option.

The issue really at that point becomes is the money worth the convenience and is it worth giving up some performance?

Without scaring you with a bunch of numbers and big technical terms/phrases, what I can tell you is that in order to keep the price that low, you have to give up quite a bit of performance. As the old adage goes “you get what you pay for.”

And I’m sincerely not trying to make you feel bad for not knowing how to build a PC or not wanting to spend a massive amount of money. It’s perfectly okay and I’m sure everyone here has been there at one point. I know I have. All I aim to do is make sure you are making a 100% informed decision. Too many times I’ve seen someone buy a system and instantly regret it once they realize it’s not what they were looking for or didn’t perform as expected.

With that said, Ryzen is good at multithreaded performance (doing many things at once) and is one of its major advantages over Intel along with the price being significantly lower. However, the Ryzen 3 series is not that great for gaming and streaming, especially if you’re looking to stream WoW, a CPU heavy game. It falls short due to it only having 4 cores while Ryzen 5 and Ryzen 7 have 6 and 8 cores, respectively. More cores means better multitasking.

Just as well, RAM is an important part. You can get by with 8GB RAM just fine, but it doesn’t leave much head room. like I said before, I don’t want to scare you with all these terms and phrases, so just think of Ram as your brains short-term memory. It’s easy and fast to access. So if you have more Ram, you have more short term memory and don’t have to wait to “remember” other data that isn’t stored in Ram which makes for a smoother gaming/streaming experience.

As far as GPU (graphics card) goes, the one is your post is just fine. The 1060 is the basic frame that the newer 1660 is based on. The only real difference between the two is the 1660 has ray-tracing capabilities while the 1060 does not.

I found this system for about $600. Slightly better specs, but no keyboard or mouse. Also, not the most aesthetically pleasing case, but it can be changed in the future if desired. It should handle everything just fine.

here is a brand new HP gaming pc that is slightly better than what you are trying to sell. I think 350 is more than fair price! the most you could probably hope for would be 450 you could list it for 400-450 and don't let anyone talk you down under 350 .

best of luck!
