check timings of soldered one and then buy cheapest 2400mhz with soldered timings. soldered ram is bottleneck here. for example a485 have 2 slots and so you can put the best laptop ram

lowest timings, lowest power consumption, etc, but for your t495 it will be waste of money

Ok thanks! I've changed to that motherboard, I can overclock with it right?
In terms of the ram you're saying I would be better off with 2400 cl14 ram that I overclock than cl 16 3200 rated ram? Is this ok?

So I placed an order for 2x8gb from Amazon:

https://www.amazon.ca/Kingston-Technology-HyperX-HX424S14IBK2-32/dp/B0722Q3243/ref=sr_1_4?keywords=ddr4%2B32gb%2B2133mhz&qid=1570462304&sr=8-4&th=1

I went with 2x because the processor has dual channel support and it's more beneficial than running one stick of memory.

There are four screws located below the four rubber feet at the bottom cover. After take the screws out I used the plastic tool from Oria screwdriver set that I bought from amazon to remove the whole bottom of the case. The hardest part was removing the bottom cover between the hinges. Keep in mind that the holes (vents) belong to the bottom cover NOT to the upper case. Be careful removing the bottom cover.

Regarding RAM memory I replaced the original 4 Gb x 2 RAM modules with 8 Gb x 2 TeamGroup RAM modules (always DDR4 2400MHz) but I think this HyperX RAM modules will be fine too (https://www.amazon.com/HyperX-HX424S14IB2-2400MHz-Unbuffered-Internal/dp/B0722Q3243/ref=sr_1_4?keywords=hyperx%2B2400%2Bmhz%2Bddr4%2B8%2Bgb&qid=1565878221&s=gateway&sr=8-4&th=1)

You do not need I-RAM
