This charger is really good. I charged it over 2 months ago for a music festival, used it all weekend, and it still has most of its charging capabilities. I haven’t charged it again since the initial charge.

Can you take a Note 8 w/case and this portable charger( https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00EA1P8OI/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_UtMCAb9FWN6N3)?

A PNY from Wal-Mart, model T4400. It supports pass-thru charging. I have also ordered a Jackery brand 12aH battery from Amazon. Jackery has all sizes and claims all its batteries support pass-thru charging. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00EA1P8OI?ref_=cm_sw_r_awd_VnbEwb7BR1TMH

Just put it in your ruck. If you rig it and pack it correctly, shit won't break.

Pull the HPTLL towards the top(when worn normally) so when the ruck hits, it hits on the bottom rear(when worn normally).

Note that this works better with an ALICE pack as the MOLLE's size makes it tend to pull large amounts of excess lowering line out.

I've used and jumped one of these for awhile.

You can through VBA. You need to familiarize yourself with the code behind the website though (his F12 when looking at a web page and it should pull up the background code for you).

First you need to go to VBA then to Tools -> References. Activate the Microsoft HTML Object Library and Microsoft Internet Controls.

Once you've done that, find out where the price is located in the website. Is it always under the same class? Is it under a tag? How is it pinpointed in the code? (you can also right click on the specific element and choose "Inspect Element" or "Inspect" depending on what browser you're using)

If, for example, the Price always shows up under the class name "priceblock_dealprice" (which it does in your link) then you could use the following code:

Sub Macro1()
'
Dim IE As InternetExplorer

Dim html As IHTMLDocument

Dim Price As IHTMLElement

Dim Prices As IHTMLElementCollection

Set IE = New InternetExplorer

IE.Visible = False

IE.navigate ("http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00EA1P8OI/ref=gbph_img_m-3_2922_c8a241ee?smid=AZF6YB7UVA7OU&pf_rd_p=2323902922&pf_rd_s=merchandised-search-3&pf_rd_t=101&pf_rd_i=5550343011&pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_r=1JQ0193Q8W4F8R5YWNTF")

Application.Wait (Now() + TimeValue("00:00:09"))

Set html = IE.document

Set Price = html.getElementById("priceblock_dealprice")

Range("A1").Value = Price.innerText

End Sub

EDIT: a simple intro to the new functions:

In order to display the data into your spreadsheet, you need to get the data from the Elements from the webpage (then you can print it using element.value, element.innertext, or element.innerhtml). There are two types of functions for this: getElementBy and getElementsBy. If you do getElementBy, then you can easily print the element value directly into your spreadsheet (as I showed above). If you need to do getElementsBy (and you will depending on how you need to pinpoint the element), then that creates an array of elements, and you need to find out what # in the array your desired element is.

So for example, if we had to pinpoint by Class, and the price we want is the 3rd on the webpage:

Set Prices = html.getElementsByClassName("price")
Set Price = Prices.Item(2) [remember that Arrays start with 0, not 1]

Get one of these and you'll never have power issues again

I use this one since I've had it for a while. Has two ports with different charging speeds, a power indicator light, and a decent, built-in flashlight.

The one you're considering looks pretty good. It's got 8000mAh more than the one I use, has two ports, and a 4-pt power level indicator. I can't vouch for Xiaomi quality since I don't a product by them, but it seems to be well-rated on Amazon.

will this probably work with the nintendo switch?

I have a ZeroLemon 7000mah battery pack on my phone, which lasts about two and a half days with normal usage. Putting the phone in airplane mode when you're not using it streches that out a ton. I also brought a 12000mah USB charging pack. The phone made it most of the week without using the USB pack, though I did have one or two opportunities to charge it for a few hours here and there. I mainly used the USB pack to charge my Garmin Forerunner 405cx since I was using that to track my rides along the way. I think the usb charger was only down to 66% by the end of the trip. In the end I probably brought a lot more power than I really needed to, but the batteries are so small and light (relatively) that they were worth bringing.

There were no showers at the hiker/biker campsites along the way- just a water pump with iodized well water and a port-o-potty. The trail there were plenty of places to camp which did have showers and normal bathrooms though. We stayed at a place in Confluence and a place in Forstburgh which both had nice restroom (Frostburgh even had a washer/drier). I'm sure there were places along the C&O with showers, but the hiker/biker sites are free and a little more remote so we did those.

I know I'm late to this, but I have a Jackery giant battery pack that I used while playing Pokémon go over the summer. 12000mah charger, I could get 4 full charges out of it on my Samsung s5 with a 2800mah battery. Considering the battery for the Switch is being rated at 4300mah, you should be able to get at least 2 charges out of it.
