hello everyone, I am extremely new to vinyl and vinyl players and I would like to start collecting them and listening to them very frequently. Can you please give me some starter tips. Is this https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00IGDHTXY/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pd_nS_ttl?_encoding=UTF8&colid=CXJSFYSB3B6R&coliid=I1ZS1Z3UJ4O239

  1. Bluetooth speaker because after borrowing one from a friend i realized how super handy these things can be!

  2. Portable charger for your phone so you won't be worried about your battery dying

  3. Record player because records are cool and the only reason i haven't started a collection is because i don't have a record player

  4. Star Wars coasters because I'm sure no one else will have these and they're super cool

Not sure if you're still looking, but I use the Jensen JTA-222. I've had it for almost 3 years now and aside from replacing the needle from general wear, it's held up really well.

The reason I bought it was because I knew it wouldn't ruin my records, always check the tracking force before buying a fixed weight arm.

It won't sound good with the built in speakers, so I'd recommend getting some nice speakers to go with your new player.

It's a radio/record player combo that I bought on Amazon. I think it was $40 when I bought it. here it is

It's been a good little player so far.
