You need to buy or make the wiring harness for the appropriate wattage, seeing how it is a 50" then that is likely 300W with switch, relay and inline fuse. This is the one I have for mine:

KAWELL® 1 Leg Wiring Harness Include Switch Kit For 300W LED Light Wiring Harness and Switch https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00JB69438/ref=cm_sw_r_awd_BBNXub05K640R

The switch is just a cheap push button but can be easily replaced if you want.

I bought this LED 24" bar light....woops, I lied....it was $109.99. It actually measures 20", the box it came in was 24". Strange. But I prefer that. It fit better on my bar.

My buddy gave me the light bar. Was all rusty so I sanded it down and repainted it. Came out like new.

I opted to buy a wiring harness. Not that I can't buy everything individual, but it was a little cheaper to just buy the harness. The only thing wrong with the harness besides thin wire(expected) is that the "remote" or blue wire that powers the LED light on the switch is ran all the way to the relay. The relay is powered by the battery, constant on. This causes the led on the switch to remain lit even with the key in the off position. I unhooked the power for the night so it wouldn't drain my battery (not sure if thats even enough draw to drain the batt but just in case). I ran out of sunlight last night so had to stop there.

I plan on splicing the blue wire from the switch to the cig lighter outlet. Anyone see anything wrong with this.

Sorry about the TJ pic, but I thought that it might help someone looking into LED lights. Plus the XJ is still visible, peeking out behind the TJ. I love both equally!

As for the light. It is SUPER bright!!!! I mean it. It's almost ridiculous how bright it is. Me and my wife went around the block last night during half time on the Detroit- New York game and it was amazing. I turned on just high beams, and then went ahead and fired up the LED bar. It completely drowned out the Highbeams. You couldn't even see them. I then tried headlights/PIAA lights. Same thing. The LED bar drowned out the light as if they weren't even on. This bar would be awesome out on the beach or trail at night!

Can't speak for the weatherproof-ness or durability of these bars, but if you ask me, for $100 I can just buy a couple over the next few years and still not pay the $500 they are asking on Quadratec.

The light itself is metal casing, and looks pretty weatherproof. Ill see about how it keeps water out after a few drives in the rain.
