It does not matter if you rearrange all the keys on a keyboard. SC2 lets you bind the keys to whatever you want. If you want a smaller keyboard, buy a smaller keyboard. If you want more keys buy an MMO mouse and some foot pedals or something.

That’s the one I use. Mostly for Starcraft and overwatch works great. I don’t like the idea of wearing out keys on my laptop from smashing them in quick succession during intense games. Had this keyboard for about two years absolutely fantastic. Plus you can connect it to another half keyboard for a nice split board. This has everything you need :)


Edit: I also use the button set up where everything for every race starts with “Q” and is based on the left side of the keyboard. Works great, forget the name of the hot key bindings off hand but watch lokos hot key video and he shows you how to change it all.

My plan is to put my main 60% keyboard in the middle, mouse in left hand and the keypad on the right. Do you guys think this would fix my issues regarding having to twist my hand around and fuck up my wrist and elbow?

It's customizable and the software isn't bad, can have multiple profiles and save to the device as well. More than likely capable of what you're looking for.

As a tip when looking around I'd put 'mechanical' in your search

I thought that was the answer, but if I'm reading it right only 8 of the keys can have a macro assigned to them. On an Amazon answer about macros it says "You can have up to 8 macros programmable to any key and usable across 4 different presets", I'm taking that to mean 8 total usable macros on the keypad at any time, rather than 8 macros per key (not sure how that would work), or even 8 macros per preset/profile..
