Good $150 1080p 60hz monitor

Mech Keyboard for around $80 or A standard Logitech KB for around $15

Logitech G400s for $60 new, $30 refurbished/used or A standard wired mouse for about $10

Windows 7 or 8 don't cost anymore than $100 unless you're buying Pro for some reason, can get them very cheap on software swap subs or just pirate.

Excluding OS costs, that's $290 extra for a good gaming-centered setup, and $175 for a more budget-based setup. If you have a TV and wish to cut out monitor costs, you can hook your PC to a TV.

I use a wired mouse and keyboard. I don't see why I should use wireless. I hardly ever even notice that the wires are there.

Love this mouse and keyboard.

I use this keyboard, and a wrist pad have had it for like, 6-7 years now, still going strong. Just to promote something that isn't a mechanical keyboard. I can still type plenty fast, and I never really liked how clicky mechanicals are.
