No traditional dimmer will work. But I suggest the Logitech POP switch system. Everyone in my house and guests find it simple enough to use and understand.
And my POP switches work more consistently than even Lifx own app. Works every time, and fast.
I stopped at the Apple Store after work, and they aren't even on the online store. They were in the back of the store still in boxes. It's cheaper to get it from Amazon . For $79.99 you get the hub and two buttons. At the Apple Store it's $59.99 for the hub and one button. An additional button is $39.99 . So you save $20 on Amazon.

There aren’t many choices. I really like the Logitech Pop. I had a lot of problems when I first got them, but have since gotten those resolved and they have worked flawlessly since. I bought;
But, from what I’ve been reading, there’s a newer version:
The difference appears to be that this one is Apple HomeKit compatible. I’m looking to buy a new one because I gave mine to my parents to try and it’s working out well for them. I’ll buy this new package to see what happens.
The Logitech pops are on sale right now. I have mine set to run a IFTTT recipe that then triggers tasker.
