My god...have you looked into LEDs?
Hello there random person on reddit.
Willing to share kindness, all without credit.
There's only one thing that I would greatly like.
And it's not really for me but for my awesome bike.
It's just this front light so I don't run over a snail.
Because I'm clumsy and need not to fall off the trail.
I would love it so much! Especially when street lights are dead.
Safety comes first for me and my head!
LED's, more specifically:

I just wanted to emphasize that you should get a U-lock and lights. The majority of bikes that get stolen had cables locking them.
This headlight and tail light are extraordinarily bright and well priced. It's worth your safety to spend thirty dollars for these, they're durable and easily attached and removed.
This, This, This, This, This, This, This, and This
I didn't check your makeup list...I assume there are no matches there.
I had an LED flash light laying around that I never used, so I made a mount for one of my bikes by screwing together a few reflector mounts. It gets the job done, but sometimes I'd prefer having it to blink when I'm in traffic and don't really need it for a light source.
I have this on the bike that I commute with most of the time: http://www.amazon.com/Bell-Dawn-Patrol-LED-Headlight/dp/B002Y1IO7E/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1324352767&sr=8-1
It's under $10, has a strobe setting, comes with a mount, and is a sufficient light source. The battery life on it has been okay, too. The mount has a quick release, so it can work as a flashlight.
