Thanks for posting this--I have the same question! It's starting to get colder here and we're not sure what to do.

Right now we're OK--the house is at 65F and we've been following these guides: Sleeperific and Cooking for My Baby.

We weren't sure how these guides fit with swaddling, so we're treating the swaddle as a 1-tog layer.

But I can see it will get colder soon. Our furnace automatically turns down to 55F at night and we can't really afford to turn it up (because my husband is an idiot, see post history for details, sigh).

This claims that their Special Product(tm) can be used down to 55F without a hat...we may try that. I'm even more unsure how that is supposed to work with a swaddle, though.
