I absolutely LOVE Metropolis! If you have not heard of it before, you should definitely check it out.
"The Passion of Joan of Arc" is waiting in my wish list, together with "Die Nibelungen" and "M". However, there are many more by Masters of Cinema that are definitely worth checking out.
That is a point, and I just noticed that all but two of my discs that come in one of those cardboard slipcases include a printed blue stripe across the top of the cardboard to replicate it. I wonder if that's a requirement? One of the discs that doesn't have it, the Masters of Cinema release of Metropolis, had a large blue sticker on the outer plastic wrapper so once opened you no longer had to look at it.
Info about the release here, but i haven't opened up the package yet to explore everything. Since it's a Masters of Cinema release I trust that it's super awesome.
