I honestly think it would be appropriate. It doesn't say black tie or even black tie optional. I agree, the sleeves skew a little informal to me. But accessories, hair, and makeup will always make or break it. So does how it fits on you- a less formal dress that suits and fits you always looks better then a fancy dress that is too tight/short/loose/etc.

I agree that a bridesmaid dress would give you the best indication, but so does locale. Can you look up the venue and see how ritz it looks- maybe check the knot or wedding wire? I think you can wear it if you style it right. Put on some glam earrings or necklace, a great bag, go all out on your hair and makeup. Regardless, I would be surprised if you felt under dressed in that dress. If you are feeling like it might not work and have the time/Amazon prime, maybe try a few other wrap dresses/best sellers? These have saved my ass before, and as long as you can get a sense of the material often loo quite nice. Always peep for pics of real people in the reviews to get a true sense, I pass on anything that doesn't have user photos.
