Well those work too, but they make a ton of indoor ones that work quite well.

Just something like that.

You can use a site like

http://antennaweb.org to see what kind of channels you can pick up where you live. Though I live in an apartment on the bottom floor, so I can only literally get fox/CW in one of the rooms, so you have to consider your surroundings.

Your TV Fool report looks a lot better than I would have imagined. Looks like you're within about 20 miles of the major networks, which is great.

For this advice, I'm going to assume you are good with the Kansas City stations and you don't care for the distant local stations listed in the TV Fool report.

First, the antenna: The one you linked to will probably work fine, but you might have to position/reposition it a few times in order to get optimal signal. Honestly, I'm a huge fan of Mohu's Leaf antennas. You could probably get away with the [Leaf Metro] (http://www.amazon.com/Mohu-MH-110633-Leaf-Metro-Antenna/dp/B00YBPMSY6) given your location, but I'd go for the refurbished [Leaf 25] (http://www.amazon.com/Mohu-Leaf-Paper-Thin-Indoor-Antenna/dp/B00EWEHEL8/ref=pd_sim_23_1?ie=UTF8&dpID=21mxr3fVheL&dpSrc=sims&preST=_AC_UL160_SR160%2C160_&refRID=0AXB3E45KYYEMB3ERCY7) instead. I don't know what Mohu does to their antennas, but they are amazing (I personally have a few of the Leaf 50 antennas, which work great for me, but I do not recommend you get them because of how close you are to the transmitters).

To hit all the signals, you're probably going to have to move your antenna around a bit. Don't be surprised if you have to fasten it to a wall, but with your luck you should be fine putting it behind the TV set.

As for your HDTVs, it depends on the age of your sets. To get digital signals, you need a digital tuner. All TV sets sold these days have digital tuners built-in; some HDTVs that are older than about eight year might be HDTV monitors with the older analog tuners in. If you aren't sure what you have, look at your remote — where the numbers are, do you see a button that looks like a dash (—) or a period (.) ? If you do, that's a pretty good sign that you have a digital tuner built in. If that's the case, you're good to go, you don't need a converter. But if your remote doesn't have that, you probably do need a converter. You can pick up a digital-to-analog converter box at most big-box retail stores or electronic stores for around $40.
