I purchased the Motorola WiFi capable baby monitor This one and while the reviews on it aren't stellar and they had some issues with the motorola app initially, it's been pretty great for us. We've used it every day for 2.5 years and it's still going strong with good video quality and sound quality.

Here's a link of the same one. You can even add more cameras to the system as you add kids or if you end up using it for security later.
Mine has a physical monitor device too.
It looks like it's called the Motorola "Connect". The app on my phone is called "Hubble" which is why I was assuming that was the name of the monitor. There's a video on the Amazon page.
I also just learned that my wife spent $300 on a baby monitor.
