under 300, LG 27GL650-B would be good. if you don't mind VA panel, MSI Optix MAG271C or you can get 32" 1440p 144/165Hz.

Any 1080p monitor will do for the PS4 Pro.
However there is a risk with the PS5, Sony may choose to not support 120hz Freesync displays at 1080p which use the HDMI 1.4 port, the PS5 could only support HDMI VRR and require a HDMI 2.1 display of which currently there are only 2 TV's on the market that feature it (LG 9 series OLED and SM9000 LED). That would simplify things for Sony but freeze out a huge number of existing displays on the market.
For example this MSI gaming monitor is 27" 1080p and 120hz Freesync over HDMI 1.4 should serve the Pro just fine at 1080p@60Hz, maybe the PS5 if Sony chooses to support it, if not it will be at minimum 60fps limited.
