MSI GL63 ($667.76)- 15.6", i5-8300H, GTX 1050, 8GB RAM, 256 GB NVMe SSD.

ASUS FX504 ($805.00) - 15.6", i7-8750H, GeForce 1050 Ti, 8GB RAM, 256 M.2 SSD.

Acer Predator Helios 300 ($829.99) - 15.6" 144Hz screen, i7-8750H, GTX 1060, 16GB RAM, 256 NVMe SSD.

Lenovo IdeaPad L340 ($850) - 15.6", i7-9750H, 8GB RAM, 1TB HDD & 256GB NVMe SSD, GTX 1050.

Keep in mind budget gaming laptops aren't really portable (personal experience lol). Also you really just pay for what you get, but hopefully these might help! Given smaller storage on most of these, if you do go with one of them, I recommend getting an external HDD (hard drive disk, standard and slower than SSD, cheaper) or SSD (solid state drive, runs way faster, more expensive).

Well you and your friend won't find a "cheap" laptop with a dedicated graphic card.

Pick up one of these.

Вот ещё вариант, сам подумываю.

Пусть чуть подороже, но тащит много чего. И не берте пока, астанавитесь, скоро 11.11, чёрная пятница и киберпонедельник, как раз и денюжек ещё подкопишь.

Or for a bit cheaper:https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B07RMLHVYS/ref=sspa_mw_detail_0?ie=UTF8&psc=1 both could run Mass Effect Andromeda.Look up on benchmarks and you'll see

Hi! The cheapest laptop I can think of that will run CAD is the Acer Aspire 5.

If you want a more robust option, look at the MSI GL63 and wait for the price to drop during BF/CM. This model was on sale for $550 at the start of September, so I'd expect a similar price on BF.

Which one of these is the better deal? I just wanna play fallout and steam games (all HL and portal games)

The msi or the HP

If you want the best specs a 15" laptop would be the way to go. The MSI GL63 8RCS-060 would be the laptop that I would recommend as it is not too heavy although it is a powerful gaming laptop (which are usually bricks)

  • 15.6" Full HD eDP IPS-Level 45% NTSC
  • Intel Core i5-8300H,
  • NVIDIA GTX1050,
  • 8GB,
  • 256GB Nvme SSD

One thing to keep in mind is that the display is not IPS so your viewing angles might not be the best

improved ram usage is one.

Could look into what programs robotics use. Many modeling programs take advantage of a dedicated GPU do to the math involved. (this in of its self could MANY hours of modeling time)

Something like the below isn't really much more expensive then a integrated laptop.

A decent laptop with those specs is still going to 500+ Cheap laptops break easily, often have mechanical hard drives which or slow and damage prone. They have poor thermal management which leads to heat issues.

Personally I think that's wishful thinking for a $500 laptop.

Classic sure, just don't expect to have the graphics on a high level. Once your in a 40 man raid I'd expect poor performance.

Maybe I just have high standards for acceptable gameplay.

That being said MSI makes pretty good value gaming laptops. I doubt you'll find much for $500 but for not much more you'd probably do alright.

Edit: I'm on mobile so it's a little tough but this one for $666 is kind of what I'm thinking
