Just looking off of amazon uk, if you prefer amd you should go for a 280x or a 290. The 270x is actually the same chipset as your 78xx series card and will only be a slight upgrade. A 7950 would be a better upgrade than the 270x, especially if you want to overclock.

Don't buy a 4gb lower end card, better to go with a 3gb card that has more power. I don't know how you feel about used, but this looked like a good deal, though I have no idea since the only feel I have for uk prices is amazon.

If you're looking for ~200, a 7950 is a great upgrade or a 280x.

What PSU do you have and what are the specs for the rest of your system?

R9 290 will be about as close as you can get to your budget limit without going over.

The card is slightly more powerful than the 770, and as a (very general) rule, Intel CPUs paradoxically prefer AMD cards, while AMD CPUs prefer Nvidia's assuming all other factors are equal. This will of course vary depending if the engine is optimized more for one GPU manufacturer, but FFXIV seems to be pretty even between the 2 major manufacturers.

You also might get free games out of the Never Settle bundle, but I'm not sure if this applies to Europe.

If you're running a single 1080p monitor, basically everything at this price range will allow you to smoothly play at max settings, probably at or extremely close to a constant 60 FPS; I'm running a 7870 XT (about an R9 270X/GTX 660 Ti level of performance), and I usually flux between 30-65 FPS on max.

If you're not overclocking, replace the cpu with a i5 4570 (£143.90) and the motherboard with an Asrock H87-Fatal1ty (78.99). Also, remove the CPU cooler and if you prefer, you could replace the black r4 with a titanium one since they're going for £64.99 ATM.
