I've been happy with this http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000JQTVLY?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_search_detailpage

Resolution of .1oz up to 2lbs, then .5oz past that.

The removable display wasn't a selling feature for me but has been great now that I mounted the display close to eye level so I can see the weight while I'm dumping in hops or whatever else.

You don't want to spend any money on ink! You want to spend money on toner!

Buy a laser printer. If you want solely black and white, I recommend the [Brother HL-2270DW] (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00450DVDY/ref=as_li_qf_sp_asin_il_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1789&creative=9325&creativeASIN=B00450DVDY&linkCode=as2&tag=teaccom-20). If you want to print color pages, go with the [HP LaserJet Pro 200] (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B008ABLJHE/ref=as_li_qf_sp_asin_il_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1789&creative=9325&creativeASIN=B008ABLJHE&linkCode=as2&tag=teaccom-20). I've had a color HP LaserJet for years and I love it. My labels and packing slips look great. It's nice to print out good quality color photos for personal use as well. The laser printer is a 4 cartridge (black, magenta, yellow, cyan) consumer, whereas the black and white requires only one toner cartridge.

Avoid inkjets. They smudge. They blow through ink. They will make you angry.

Don't worry about the printer effecting your profit margins too much. You will have to sink some cash into your business to get it started. You will save time and money by printing your postage at home. Buy a [good scale] (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000JQTVLY/ref=as_li_qf_sp_asin_il_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1789&creative=9325&creativeASIN=B000JQTVLY&linkCode=as2&tag=teaccom-20) while you're at it.

i use this one. Works great, very precise. I sit the keg on top of it and pour the water in until i hit the right weight.

I rock this, its cheap, detachable display so it can hold large containers and pots / boxes. up to 75lbs so more than i will ever need grain wise. can set co2 tank on it to weigh / kegs. and I use it when shipping beer to buddies as well. Had it for almost a year and still on first set of batteries and I keep it outside in the garage all the time, no issues booting up in freezing weather either.
