Ukon no Chikara ingredients: glucose sugar, 10g turmeric extract (30mg curcumin,) dexirin, oligosaccharide, niacin, plus ginseng, vitamin B6, vitamin E and inositol. Probably not enough curcumin to help. I take them when my old knee injury acts up sometimes, usually with another anti inflammatory like asprin, and something that has black pepper so that curcumin will actually absorb. You might be better off finding some supplements at a pharmacy. Like 明治薬品 濃縮秋ウコン or something else under this category.
Ranitidine pills are here, too, in case you run out of those. Look for ラニチジン75 mg, packages with "胃酸を抑える薬" on them. Or whichever dose you normally use. This is the kind we got for my MIL when she visited and left her pills back home on the counter. There are pill forms and the more common powder packets that you mix with water and drink. They worked fine for her, but she also avoided a lot of "spicy" and acidic foods anyway because she isn't that adventurous of an eater. YMMV. If Zantec isn't working for you, look for that package and check out the other options near it with all the distressed stomachs on them. Google translate camera should help you parse out the active ingredients.
There's a lot of ginger here. Would just eating pickled ginger help? Or making tea with fresh ginger from a supermarket? Any import shops (like Jupiter or Khaldi) will probably have jars with Korean honey ginger tea, usually near the yuzu/citron tea. There are chews and candies with real ginger, too. Check out any 100 yen shop, Daiso usually has the best selection of that sort of thing. And just like the curcumin above, here's some supplements to look for.
Apple cider vinegar is at most grocers, too. With all the other vinegar. There's usually a few with apples on it that say リンゴ酢, like this. They're not as cloudy as the ones you are used to, not sure if they'll be as effective.
Feel better soon! Don't miss out on all the tasty things.
