Yes, MUCH better.

I have both.

The Pocket is basically a little video game console that runs Windows.

It's great for playing games on emulators, but that's about it.

The Pocket is literally like someone took an ultrabook and shrunk it.

The keyboard, screen, pointer nub and touch screen are all excellent.

It has as much RAM and storage as most entry level ultrabooks and it has the same as or more ports than they do!

I use it as my daily driver and I carry it in my day bag.

It does need a little TLC out of the box.

You'll want to:

  • Take the back panel off (it uses regular phillips screws), pull off the heat shield and replace the thermal compound with better thermal compound. Doing so increased performance for me dramatically.
  • Update the BIOS (there are a TON of fixes that fix annoying problems like refusal to boot if the battery is below 15% charge and stopping charging when the battery is full and letting it drain overnight).
