I played the game at release back on the PS2, so I can't speak to the PC version, but if you're in the US you can pick up the PS2 version shipped for less than $7 shipped.

Not too much more than the PC version, and if /u/Azul788 is right, the better platform to play it on anyways. Plus you can always resell it yourself and maybe make up that $2 difference.
If you liked the first two Onimusha games, I would still recommend 3, and even the fourth one which I'm pretty sure is a PS2 exclusive.
