Just want to piggyback on your comment: while the TV is advertised as an HDR TV, I don't think it's an actual HDR display (my understanding of HDR meaning the 10 bit display, quantum dots, or oled). The pixels are direct LED lit (vs edge lighting) however.Amazon link to tv: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01FWIEMSU/
Edit: It has a 10 bit IPS display.
Actually you could also go sony 700

Which do you believe is a better deal the tcl p series or this Sony https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B01FWIEMSU/ref=gbmg_mob_m-5_57a6_fa2137e7?smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER&dealid=fa2137e7&pf_rd_p=877deadb-5ddd-49cb-aa42-85266d8957a6&pf_rd_s=mobile-hybrid-5&pf_rd_t=30901&pf_rd_i=13887280011&pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_r=67VKRN7BVXE88R7CS0EM
Okay thanks for the information! I just heard that this model from user moons https://www.amazon.com/product-reviews/B01FWIEMSU/ref=acr_dpx_hist_2?ie=UTF8&filterByStar=two_star&showViewpoints=0 That it actually runs at a native 60hz instead of 240 cause motion blur? Which I found quite annoying in gaming. Any thoughts?
Yea, it was the deal of the day. Sold out fast. I almost pulled the trigger when it popped up.

They've got a 55" Sony now up. According to rtings.com it seems pretty good
