I have two that I keep at home as main FAKs, they are a little different. This one is just medical and I've been adding and improving what I put in it for years. If I'm going on a road trip I usually take this one.
This one has the basics for first aid and blood loss but it's more my outdoors bag. It has my sunscreen, extra water, rehydration salts, small ham radio, etc. I'll take this is we are boating or camping overnight, plus it has a slot for my pistol and other small tools (matches, knife, etc.)
There is a fair amount of duplication between these kits but that's ok with me. Also, I've found that keeping everyday first aid items like band-aids, neosporin, burn cream in our bathrooms/medicine cabinets is easier than breaking out the kit every time someone gets a splinter.
