Ginger is a well-known remedy for nausea. Oculus infamously had plenty of ginger on hand for their GDC2016 demos.

  • St. Laurent Bros. in Bay City, MI makes crystallized ginger. It's VERY spicy, but very good, if you like ginger, sweets, and spicy food. You can get them elsewhere online too.

  • Speaking of ginger and Michigan, I'm obligated to recommend Vernor's ginger ale.

  • Also, the 1893 Ginger Pepsi is one of my favorite new sodas to come around in a long time. I have it very much associated with my first week in the Vive... in a good way. Very very tasty. Toss in a long straw, and you have my favorite Vivin' beverage.

There is ginger-lime diet Coke. IMO it's better than Ginger Pepsi but YMMV!
