It is absolutely retarded to pay more than $60 for good jeans. I wear American Eagle brand. I think they fit well, look good for $40, and are pretty resilient.

I think that despite what the guy above says, shorts should go to just below the kneecap, any shorter and you look like an old man.

I definitely agree that wearing a nice pair of jeans with even a decent t-shirt and a blazer makes you look loads better than every other buster out there. If you want to be really cheap like me, go to goodwill for blazers, if you look hard enough, they have some good stuff there.

For winter, I have a couple thin sweaters (mostly v-neck) that go well with a collard shirt underneath and a blazer.

If you listen to the guy above, you'd be paying tons of money for name brands-even though he says to avoid it. you should just have some general rules and find whatever works with them.

Glasses. I wear Oakleys because they work for me. Aviators are good, but again, you have to pay at least $90 for any decent sunglasses. Avoid at all cost Ray-Ban Wayfarers noted above, you look like a hipster douche. JUST. DON'T.

I recommend avoiding getting something because it's an obscure brand or design. There's being different, then there's being different to be cool. The latter doesn't work. Don't try to be cool, try to wear comfortable semi-casual attire that makes you look respectable.

One thing that's just as important as attire is keeping yourself well groomed, well washed, and clean smelling. Avoid musky or very strong cologne, I go with Ralph Lauren Blue, which has gotten me many compliments from good-looking girls(and is relatively cheap). Remember that cologne can change smells based on your body chemistry and how it interacts with your natural smell.

Just keep it understated, not flashy, and make it look well put together and you'll be fine.
