I use the Knobble II on my jaw sometimes and it seems to help about as much as using my hands or knuckles. Haven't yet found a good one for my neck.

That was a great idea! I have spent the morning rolling my foot on a Knobble 2 and feel really relaxed as a result.

I have a messed up ankle and was worried that a standing desk would agitate it, but this will certainly help.

Also, another useful and cheap massage tool is your opposite kneecap. Sitting in a chair (e.g., at work) place the back of the injured calf on the other knee. Then drive the knee into the calf muscles, moving your injured leg around a little to find the knots.
