This is the first time I've used it, but it seems to work well. The big selling point is that it pretty much will work with any phone, even one in a case.

I loveeee my ram x grip. I have one in my car, one on the motorcycle, and one on my bicycle. Best part is that it is future proof.

Bought this recent for my bicycle. Works pretty well. Very hard to get that ball into the socket though when assembling.

On my motorbike, I used RAM Mount. They hold devices really well and they're almost indestructible. I know for sure that one of my pals crashed his motorbike on a track and his phone didn't fly anywhere.

Also, they're easy to use: their grip is spring-loaded, has no screws or switches you might forget to turn. Just put the phone in it, and you're good to go. Will work equally great with phone inside a case or without one.

I'd recommend a simple model like this one.
