Dont worry, i haven't forgotten :p Sorry for the short delay, I work graveyards so I mainly do my phone charging at work. Anyways the charger and cable came in and some interesting things happened.

First, i drained the battery down to 20%. Once I plugged this aftermarket charger and cable in, the phone did a small freeze on me. I was like "oh snap, did i break something?" Couple seconds later all was well and the phone acted normal again. When I checked charging status it says "charging slowly" which was not what I'd expected. So i opened up Ampere and it clearly showed the thing was barely charging. Suddenly it started connecting and disconnecting from the charger. So i yanked the cable out and plugged it back in. Still monitoring Ampere, i saw the charging rate go up into what i assume a normal quick charge 3.0 rate is. Seeing this i left the phone afk for the same 40 minutes that i did with the stock charger. After the 40 minutes, the phones battery went from 20% to about 76%, a bit slower than the stock charger, but still reasonably fast i think. I don't know exactly what happened when i first plugged it in to the aftermarket charger but I'll try to replicate it tomorrow and update you with the results.

And if any of you guys were wondering, I picked up this charger:

Last update on the Raketa says it's been exported from Moscow!

Upgrading from my 2 year old S7 to a Pixel 3 this week! Looking at copping some nice braided cables and some micro-to-C adapters.

Start my new job next week!

Overthinking stuff abt the girl. Hopefully having a job with nights free will help things along since having opposing schedules didn't help in addition to her being overworked. Tho part of me is starting to think that while she is overworked, she also might not be interested in being anything other than friends. Which, while a bummer, "just friends" is honestly a better outcome than losing a friend. /shrug

It didn't come with a charger, but Docomo warned me and offered to sell me one.

They sell USB Type C cables at Family Mart now for about 1000 yen. You can also get some nice ones from Amazon for just 700 yen. I got three of those after purchasing my phone. Those are just the cables though, not the base. The type C cables should work with your old USB base though.

Don't forget you can also use wireless charging! I haven't bought one yet, but I saw the official Samsung wireless charging stations at Kojima the other day. I imagine they must have them at K's Denki too.

it's your phone and cable. I had a really bad time with my LG G6, then after I got my new note 9, android auto just flies.

For cables I no longer had disconnects after I started using this cable: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01N4OKUB8/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

If you want a really good cable go for this https://www.amazon.com/RAMPOW-Braided-Certified-Charging-Durable/dp/B01N4OKUB8

I don't have one but my friend does and it's super durible and the braded cable feels very right and strong. The ends are also aluminum. Plugging it into my s8 is also nice and satisfying. The default cable has a mushy feel when plugging in but this creates an audible click when inserted.

I don't have to deal with them too often but the last time I bought a tv from them, it arrived and while not physically broken as soon as you turned the screen on the digitizer was clearly all busted up. We called amazon and they apologized and sent another tv that arrived the next day. Gotta love their willingness to forego shipping costs to help people out.

That would work and that is a pretty good dollar per gigabyte ratio compared to other external SSDs but it's not an amazing deal or anything. A more cost effective way to do it is to buy an SSD built for internal use such as this Western Digital Blue SSD and pair it with an external drive enclosure like this one on amazon. There are many different models of 2.5 inch drive enclosures so feel free to shop around for one that looks good to you. Just make sure it supports USB 3.0 (or 3.1 ideally) and SATA III for the best speed. As for the USB 3.0 cable, the one that comes with the enclosure should be fine. The only quality factors to consider when buying a USB cable I know of are distance and ruggedness. Since you probably aren't going to have the drive tens of feet away, the only real factor to worry about is durability, however most well reviewed cables should be good in this regard. This one looks promising. USB 3.0 is a standard so anything labeled USB 3.0 will work to that standard.

I use the charging base from my iPad with a braided USB-C cable. The cable rolls up nicely and tucks in the pouch of my Zelda case, and I tuck the charging base right below the D-Pad.

I did some testing when I first got the Switch, and this combo charged at the exact same rate as using the official charger. I've been very happy with it!
