This is spam post. The way it works is OP entices you is the deal, so you look through the comments for it. You click the link, and get taken to Facebook instead of the retailer site? Why? So OP can plug their link that gives them money. They can’t link directly because ‘a m z n . t o‘ is banned by reddit (why I have to link it like that). You can also confirm this is spam because OP obviously bought this account (one post four years ago before this, more spam, another post) and because they used r/free4karma4u to get reddit karma to get around filters. I’ve reported the post and user.

Last question is $1899 through Amazon a fair price for the specs of the advanced model, https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07R1P4DQG/ref=crt_ewc_title_oth_1?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER

I just don't want to overpay not sure if waiting for "Black Friday" would be better... or just go for it.

I know this one isn't on sale, but would it be a good purchase? I know it's $1.9K for a laptop and i have an extremely specced out gaming desktop, but i am looking for something to use on the go, portable, light, extremely strong and that would like me for a good while (looking at up to 4years or more if possible). From my understanding, i know that the 2018 models have had a lot of issues thermal wise and etc and I would really like to get it through amazon instead of the razer site, do not want to deal with them.

This is the product:

Comparing that model of the xps 15 vs the old blade they seem very comparable with the xps being cheaper due to student discount. I didnt fully follow the networking skimp outs of the xps you mentioned earlier but from above I'd give a slight edge to the xps 15. I also like the option to get a larger ssd on the xps and avoid the hybrid drive. Thoughts?

Two other things I was considering. 1) Buying a cheaper xps 15 without dedicated graphics and purchase an eGPU holder with a gpu at a later date like black friday or something. I need a new laptop urgently but the gaming can wait. Although I am unsure how well eGPUs perform these days.

2) A little pricey but https://www.amazon.com/Razer-Blade-15-Smallest-i7-8750H/dp/B07R1P4DQG/ref=sr_1_fkmr0_1?keywords=Blade%2B15%2B2018%2BH2%2B15.6&qid=1565906737&refinements=p_89%3ARazer%2Cp_n_condition-type%3A6461716011%2Cp_36%3A15000-&s=pc&sr=1-1-fkmr0&th=1

Seems like an option to consider. Any further suggestions would be appreciated.

On Amazon it is $1999, just have to pay taxes and/or shipping.

The 2019 Razer Blade 15 is probably your best bet right? This new revision has great reviews.

I have had the Blade 15 GTX 1060 for the last 6 months, which is good for playing most games at medium settings. If I was buying today with a $2,000 budget, I would buy the new RTX 2060 model: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07R1P4DQG
