You need to be careful with long nails. With their nails being that long, when they walk it pushes the bed of the nail back and puts pressure on the join. It makes it painful and uncomfortable for them to walk, plus it could cause arthritis or deformations in their paws and legs long term.

You can take them to the vet to clip their nails and it will cost you anywhere from $10-$25 depending on the vet OR you could buy a nail trimmer and dremel/grinder for pretty much $20 and diy.
