Hey friend, whatever you do dont get a crosley. I know a lot of people have them now and I’ll probably get downvotes for this but they aren’t that good. If you plan on getting more records and playing them pretty often, I’d recommend getting a sound system and a Thorens. They are a bit pricey compared to the little target Crosleys, but are well worth the price. I’m not sure about sound system brands, but any record shop near you should be able to help! If you’re not really going to be playing much other than a few records every now and then, I have a record player that was ~$130USD on amazon ( here’s the link if you’d like to check it out - https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07H29YRQ3/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_vp4nDb7XCQDQW ) and it works very well for how often I use it. It also works as a bluetooth speaker and you can plug in a USB to save the music in digital form straight from the records- kinda like how the 90’s kids and us 2000’s kids would download our music from CDs. It’s really easy to set up and has a built in speaker. I have a lot of experience with records from my vinyl-addicted dad, so if you need any help my DMs are open! There are probably subreddits for records too, the more knowledge the better! :3
