Ah, I see. No experience with that but I don't think I would like a metal mousepad.
I currently use a Roccat Taito Control and it's the best mousepad I ever had. It being soft means it hangs a bit down over the table which helps my forearm.
im not even using the dongle.
I have it connected to wire, I regret buying a wireless mouse back in the day and try to remove any latency.
I've been cleaning it to see if that was the issue.
I wiped down my mouse pad with alcohol so hopefully that'd help
