The heatsink fan won't fit. Since you are using the blu-ray drive slot, it will be directly above the memory & CPU. You'll need something low profile or a self contained water cooling unit like I linked.

Even if you drop the blu-ray drive, I'm still not sure it would fit. According to newegg the heatsink is 159mm high, but the height of the case itself is 172mm, so you've got 13mm to work with, and that's not factoring the height of the CPU socket, CPU, motherboard, risers, etc. I suggest sticking with the stock Intel heatsink/fan to start with and then measure your actual clearance and plan appropriately. That's why I've been recommending people get the self contained water coolers for HTPC use - you have more options for where to put that radiator and low profile for the CPU.

As for the video card, as much as I love my 6950, if I were building a new system I would get one of the newer 7850's that just came out. They are just as fast as the 6950 but based on the new generation of chips, plus they have the advantage of consuming less power and they run just as fast as the 6950 (sometimes faster). Also, less heat. And cheaper by $30-40.

The 7850's literally just came out and they sold out everywhere. They're due en mass in the market at the end of this month, so if you can hold off for about 10 days you'll be better off.

Power supply - looks fine, though unless you absolutely love Corsair as a brand you can probably find one for less money that will be just as good. I have one of the OCZ ModXStream that I picked up for $50 on sale, it's a 700W modular unit with a big 140mm fan and it is the quietest fan in the system.

Case - excellent choice, I like that one. the hidden drive bays & ports is nice.

HDD + SSD - looks fine to me. The SSD is your boot drive I assume, very nice. If you get a TV tuner later make sure you configure it to do the live TV cache on your HDD or you'll reduce the life of the SSD.

For the IR receiver, get this. I wish they sold just the IR receiver by itself, because that's all you really need.

everything else looks great. Make sure you post pictures of your build when you're done!
