I'm in the same boat. Trying to find a tv with the same exact specs. I keep coming back to this one. Samsung UN55H6350. It's the 2014 model and the reviews are mostly really good. $1147 on amazon right now.

Like this one, which is $200 cheaper, brand new, and ships free right to your door.
I personally wouldn't do the P-series. Even after calibration, the TV doesn't reproduce anywhere near accurate color. You'll get the great clarity of 4k, but people look like oompa loompas. Even Cnet, which normally holds Vizio on a pedestal basically trashed this TV If you're not willing to move up to at least $1300-$1500, I'd suggest going with a good 2k (aka 1080p) TV. Here's some of my favorites in your price point.

44ms input lag on "gaming mode" and pretty reasonable.
Thanks a lot for the suggestions. I like the idea of some more red accents. As far as your team goes, could be worse, you could be a Tottenham or Man U supporter....... :)

I would look at the Samsung 6350 instead of the 7150, essentially the same set but the 7150 has smartTV and 3D while the 6350 does not. Since OP said he doesn't want these features, I'd consider the (cheaper) 6350.
50" is $750, 55" is $900
