We got two different types of sharpies: Sharpie Metallics: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07DPLQJVN/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o07_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1 which worked absolutely great, did not smudge, looked great, fast drying and a package of multicolored ones: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00UHUKKHQ/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o08_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 which were hit and miss - some of these were too light and some did smudge a little. If your guests are careful, they can not smudge the ink, but especially if you are doing an open bar like we did that may be too much too ask. haha
