If you think you'll continue to make macarons over the long haul, might be worth picking up some silicone baking mats that come with the templates on them like these ones.
Yes, they do! I actually originally bought them for my macarons at the suggestion of Sally's Baking Addiction. I started using them for regular cookies as well and that's where my surprise at how well they worked came in. :) I bought full half-sheet silpats but you can also buy silicone mats from Amazon that actually have macaron templates built in.
I made some parchment paper templates to stick under my silpats, but I've been meaning to get macaron silpats too.
