Emotiva A-100 Great speaker amp and a good headphone amp too.
DAC/Headphone amp: Monoprice $69, Schiit Fulla $99 or Micca OriGen G2 $109.
DAC/Speaker amp: Micca OriGain and DAC
Separate DAC, speaker amp and headphone amp:
Speaker amp, no DAC: Micca OriGain $79 or SMSL SA100 $73.
You'll want to start with an Audio-Technica turntable. It is $100 and has a phono-preamp, so all you need is speakers and an amp after that.
For $300, you've got quite a few options. Right now, I would go with an SMSL SA100 combined with a pair of Elac Debut B6.2 speakers. That will give you a very full sound for not much money. You'll need speaker cables and RCA cables. I would go with AmazonBasics for those.
Another good option, while they're on sale, would be the Klipsch R-51M at $125. They are brighter and more forward. These will give you a 'front row of a concert' sort of feel, with dynamics and punch. The Elacs will extend much deeper and have a much smoother top end, that won't be fatiguing like the Klipsch may be.

The cheapest and smallest might be an SMSL SA100. You can stream to them via Bluetooth that way, or one unit that has a normal RCA out.

You also need some speaker cable. Then just connect left/right speakers, one red/black cable each, pair your phone to the amp and rock on.
I would stay away from receivers if you're looking for a headphone amp. The lower the output impedance, the better. There's a few different options for you. The Fiio K5 Pro for $150 is a dac/amp combo and would suit you well. It's out of stock at the moment, though. The Schiit Magni 3 on sale for $74, but it's only an amp. The SMSL M100 for $80, Topping D10 for $90 (USB only), Topping D30 for $105, and Schiit Modi 3 for $120 are all good dacs. If you only really need USB and you have a USB-C port on your computer, the Apple Dongle is very cheap and a decent dac. As far as a desktop amp, there's the SMSL SA100 for $74 and the Topping PA3 for $105 as options for you.
What more, specificly are you looking for?
Fluance Ai40 are $199.
Or you can get a SMSL SA100 amplifier and a pair of Yamaha NS-6490 for just a bit over $200.

Had an audiophile friend recommend me the SMSL SA100. He said that for a beginner it will have plenty of power and you won't notice any major differences between that and upper scale models. If you really start to get into the audiophile scene, then you might want slightly different sounds from slightly different amps
I bought the SMSL SA50 https://www.amazon.com/SMSL-50Wx2-TDA7492-Amplifier-Adapter/dp/B00F0H8TOC , the SMSL SA100 https://www.amazon.com/Amplifier-TPA3116D2-Channel-Adjustment-Amplifiers/dp/B07Q2XC7K3/ , and the FOSI T20 Bluetooth Tube https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07Q26T5N7 to try out with a pair of Sony Cores (crazy sale right now) and the Dayton MK442t.
This is totally subjective, but I felt like the FOSI was so much warmer and easier to control where I wanted the tone to be. Hands down sounded way better than the SMSL. I was really skeptical of the tube hybrid, but it sounds great. I'm curious if the AD18 would have similar tonal range to the SA100.
Based off all of the info you linked above here's what I'm looking at: (can you confirm this all works together?)
Turntable: Fluance RT82 - $299.99
Speaker: DCM TP160 by MTX Audio - $80
Amplifier: SMSL SA100 - $73.99
Phono:
ART DJ PRE II - $66.99
PA10 High Fidelity Phono Preamp - $80
- Do I still need this w/ the above SMSL?
Total: $520

Hi Seamao,
I have a lot of experience with Hi Fi amps and a lot of amps that you are looking at in your price range. That tripath amp is extremely good not only for that price but in general. Here are only some of the other amps I have bought, kept or sold and reviewed over the years:
Nad 356 Bee ($700),
Hegel 100,
Hegel 300 ($4800),
Exposure 2010 s2
Exposure 3010 s2 ($2800),
Rega Brio integrated,
Rouge Audio Sphinx ($1200),
PS audio sprout,
Marantz PM8006,
Nad 3020,
Nad D750,
Job 225 ($1400),
Job Integrated ($1900)
The tripath amp that I linked has heft and weight to the bass, fantastic imaging and speed, and a very warm sounding tonal signature. I wouldn’t be over concerned about the watts, I had the 15 watt version of this amp actually driving a pair of Fritz Rev 5 speakers (87 dB sensitivity, $2300) and it sounded loud, lush and wonderful.....but if you are dead set on believing you need at least 50 - 100 a another good alternative is:
SMSL SA100 Stereo Audio Amplifier TPA3116D2 50W x 50W 2 Channel Treble Bass Adjust.
Outside of the Tripath chip and (hypex) look for a digital amp that has the TPA3116d2 or TPA3118 chip. The SMSL SA100 and Tripath amp that I previously listed are probably 2 of the best digital amps you will find under $500
FYI my favorite 3 amps are
