You sound like a perfect Nintendo couple, nice. I've only in the past few years started to encounter people who were only ever portable Nintendo console owners, but there were a lot apparently. I can't imagine being stuck on GameBoy during the N64 era, but today, as we see in Japan, mobile gaming is a lifestyle. Very cool to hear your story, hopefully you guys get to buy more games and play together during the holidays. I plan to meet a girlfriend in Europe and do just that :)
Also, I'd recommend Snipperclips (the physical version releases this week with new content), very good and funny couch co-op game to play with friends or significant others.
