I like this but I'm not electrical savvy at all so I need something that's ac/outlet compatible

I can say with reasonable confidence that that's probably not enough for an outtake to maintain throughflow. I use, and would highly recommend for both strength and noise level the S&P silent series. I realise buckets are often a fairly budget thing and i didnt actually get one of these until my 3rd grow but the thing is the bollocks. Have had a few 4inch extractors and this is leagues ahead and justifies the price. Enough airflow to keep it below 27C even in summer (30c being the max you should keep a plant at in celsius).

Can be found elsewhere too if you're anti-amazon for whatever reason.

Im also sure you could probably source a more powerful PC fan for less money but i dont have enough experience in that area to make specific suggestions.

is the one i was referring to. The only reason i say go with this one over the TT is because the TD is a legit brand and has, in my opinion, a more qaulity product. One of the reviews on that TT said the hole diameters were smaller than 4 inches. I doubt you know what its like trying to fit ducting thats one size onto a hole thats another, its not fun

this is the carbon scrubber i recommend as well. Its pretty heavy and the shipping is 10$ but I feel likey ou can get either that or the TD-100 with free amazon prime shipping if you get their little trial subscription. Thats what I did and it was great for when i bought all my grow stuff.

ID definitely recommend that scrubber though because even with shipping its still cheaper
