Most: Native Instruments Komplete 9 Ultimate. The website describes it as a vast range of advanced synthesizers, pristinely sampled instruments, and pro-quality studio and creative effects. Essentially it's music production software that I have an extreme desire to buy. But it's simply out of my price range for the forseeable future. I have a boring but steady office job that keeps a roof over my head and feeds my baby daughter, but my dream is to create music for TV, games and movies. This would let me produce truly professional-sounding music from home. Videos like this and this as well as demo tracks like this and this give an idea of how powerful this software is. But at $999, it truly is the wishiest of products on my wish list.
Least: A car air freshener. I do love a nice-smelling car. Mine doesn't smell bad per se, but any 12-year-old ex-smoker's car just smells very 'meh' after a while, especially sitting out in the sun. But most days I just drive to the station and back, so while a new air freshener would be nice to have, I can do without it.
Waiting for: Songs In The Key Of X: Music From And Inspired By The X-Files. As you might gather from my name on here, which is an X-Files reference, I'm a big fan of this seminal TV show. Songs In The Key of X is one of the first CDs I bought as a spotty tween, but tragically I gave it away to a friend never to be seen again.
One the world could do without: Reese's Peanut Butter Cups, 1.5-Ounce Packages (Pack of 6) I've never had this seminal American snack, and I'm told they're delicious, hence it being on my wish list. But I think the world could probably do without less junk food (and I certainly could).
Songs in the Key of X: Music From and Inspired By the X-Files. It's terribly uneven, but it was the first cassette tape I ever bought, and I love it.
I used to have an X-Files CD that had that on it, and that was one of my favorite songs from that disc. This is the one that I had, I believe.
