Dragon Professional Individual v15 is the only tool in the market right now worth buying. It has a transcription feature that allows you to transcribe what you've dictated into a digital recorder on the road. You'll need a good digital recorder as the voice recording you'll get from a smartphone will not be good enough.

You'll need something like this or another digital recorder from their hardware compatibility list.

This is a link to one of my videos where I use the mic:

You may not be able to see it (its clipped on my collar under my beard). I feel that it probably does work better clipped to a tie, but does the job for me.

Here is the link to Amazon for the mic:

https://www.amazon.com/Sony-ECMCS3-Omnidirectional-Stereo-Microphone/dp/B0058MJX4O/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1551210188&sr=8-3&keywords=sony+ecm-cs3+tie+clip+microphone

And here is a link to the recorder I use, which I just shove in my pocket. (Cool thing about it, is it has as sliding USB end that lets me immediately plug into my computer rather than link it through cable or deal with memory cards):

https://www.amazon.com/Sony-ICD-PX470-Stereo-Digital-Recorder/dp/B06XTX2S2N/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1551210347&sr=8-4&keywords=sony+voice+recorder

Full disclosure, you might have to play around with the mic, as I noticed the volume will sometimes adjust on it, probably due to me moving around at times. It is powerful, though, as it will pick up anyone sitting next to me, and with the recorder even picks up ambient noise from downstairs.

Hope this helps.
