If you're looking for some over ear options that aren't super super expensive and are actually really good I recommend these Sony WH-CH700N Wireless Bluetooth Noise Canceling Over the Ear Headphones with Alexa Voice Control - Black https://www.amazon.com/dp/B079GPFLT1/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_NBH4Db137Q0HC

I would consider the Sony ch700 ANC... you can get them for 99 on sale or on amazing for 130 all the time. They sound great for the price and the ANC is acceptable.

I use these. They’re noise cancelling and they’re Bluetooth, but they have a headphone/aux cable to connect that way as well. The noise cancelling is also a good enough to drown out the rumbling noises of the clinic, and although you can still hear the beeps, it’s a lot less grating on the ears. Audio quality is also pretty good.

I got these Sony's during Prime Day for $100 (normally $200). I love them, and the noise cancelling works quite well. Looks like people are returning them now cause there are a bunch of used and refurbished for about or below that price.

Yeah, the problem is in your headphones, not your iPhone. New headphones might solve the issue for you.

I have two different Bluetooth headphones. For extended listening on the bus (I have a very long commute), I prefer my Sony WH-CH700N over-ear headphones. (Scored a Prime Day deal to get these headphones for $99.) When walking about the city, or at any time when portability is a big issue, I also have a set of BeatsX earphones with Comply tips. Neither of these Bluetooth headphones have any noticeable latency for me.

I'm looking at three deals:

  • Audio-Technica ATH-M50xBT 130$

  • Sony WH-CH700N 90$

  • Sennheiser HD 4.50 SE 100$

I want them for the office. Really on the fence about NC. I brought in my Sennheiser hd pro 280 in one day and honestly that was enough for me not to hear my coworkers talking. So I'm not sure I need the ANC at all, I could just get a good pair of closed back wireless headphones and call it a day.

What do you folks think? Do the ATH-m50xbt provide noise isolation similar to hd pro 280? If not what about those Sonys?

I don't think I'd go for the hd 4.50 because of the reviews about their small earcups

I have a few different headsets I use. Walking I use my earpods BUT with earhooks. I have insanely tiny ear holes ( canal I don't know the official name) and have tried so many different pods. I want to like ear pods but I've never had success...even with Kross came out with the set designed "specifically" with people like me in mind. These are the only thing I have used that have kept Apple Pods IN. I have never had these steer my wrong.

I use my sony bluetooth headset when doing heavy workouts and want the option to control my music without having to be too close to my phone. I've had these for about 5 years. Still holding on, charge lasts forever.
