Amazon.ca is third party, which is likely why it's so high. Looking at the price history would suggest that it dropped to ~$720ish a few times last year..
SRP on Sony.ca is $1,499. Visions has the 700D for $1,199. No idea what the differences are between them...
looks like maybe HDR Ready (whatever that means).Perhaps motionflow... whatever that is.Or the Sony X850D -- roughly $898 for 55-inch and a step up from X800D.

I am going to be buying a new TV, Sony XBR55X850D 55-Inch 4K Ultra HD Smart TV, and am wondering if it would be a better decision to buy on Friday or wait until Monday.
X850D is great for gaming, but not available in 60 inch, only 55 or 65. I'd recommend it over the ks8000 almost, except for the size part.
