Hi all,

I am looking to buy my first softbox lighting setup. I own one speed light and was looking to buy a two lights with soft boxes as it seems versatile enough for the price. Thus far I have landed on two models on Amazon - Neewer Bi-colour LED lights and ESDDI Softbox Studio Lights. What I like about the Neewer is that it has adjustable brightness which is something I feel might be beneficial. I don't yet know if the dual temperature option would be something I would find "necessary". What I like about the ESSDI softboxes is that many people seem to like them and reviews are plentiful which means lots of people have bought it.Is there anything specific I should be looking for in lighting equipment in general? (perhaps at this price it's all irrelevant). Is LED better than compact fluorescent light?

I am open to any suggestions though my budget as you can tell is not much. I would be using these for portraits and product photography as well as group shots.

Would I need something like the below and a speedlight or would I get away with a couple speedlights? Should I set them up like the photography lights?

Apologies for the questions, never used them before. Only standard lighting etc as it was small items. Now we are selling signs and furniture I need to change the set up
