> Maybe the market isn't there anymore for Physical media?

Again, they're still putting out Vinyl, CDs, DVDs and Blu-Ray discs. Nearly everything besides PC games, and those same companies who are gutting physical PC games are still putting out physical copies for the consoles. Regardless, 50GB+ is too much to download in the U.S. for many users, let alone places like Australia who have it even worse when it comes to download speeds and data caps.

Production for "B&M" materials like DVDs and Blu-Rays are mere pennies on the dollar. This was being discussed here just the other day in regards to Nintendo's new system supposedly using cartridges again. Not to mention, Publishers are already still putting boxes on shelves; Battlefield 1 and [Battlefront both had boxes, only the DVD/s weren't included.] (http://www.amazon.com/Star-Wars-Battlefront-Standard-PC/dp/B00W8FYF4W/ref=sr_1_1_twi_gam_5?ie=UTF8&qid=1462985547&sr=8-1&keywords=battlefront)

That makes no sense when they're printing boxes and paying for shelving costs at Best Buy and elsewhere, but the DVDs themselves are insanely cheap to print. GTA V's PC version got a physical release with 7 discs but that's another issue regarding Blu-Ray not taking off on PC because Microsoft didn't want to pay Sony for the codec at the time, which caused incompatibilities for Blu-Ray drives that subsist to this day.

> Also, for a game like this, how much of the content is on the disc considering the lifetime of the game? DLC, patches are in the gigabytes. They could easily match what comes what comes on that disc.

The point is that the less that I and others with similar issues downloading 50GB+ games have to download, the better. Not to mention the DLCs for games like Battlefield 4 were roughly 15-20GB and came out months apart. The entire DLC content also isn't required to be downloaded all at once, since they're often in packs. That's not nearly as bad. That initial 50GB+ is a major problem, especially when it's not compressed (or even worse, it IS compressed and is still at that size).

I am a huge Star Wars fan, and I built a PC last year mainly for this game. ( I also pre-ordered the Ultimate Edition... RIP). I still play the game on and off. The community is small but very supportive. The developers really care about the game and have providing free items in game. If i am counting correctly there are 13 multiplayer maps in the standard edition. The game just released its 2nd to last DLC: The Death Star, and there will be one more DLC later this year, and I believe that will be it for the game. I'm not sure if they will add more content for the base game. They do have a game mode called "Skirmish" where you can play against bots in 2 game modes: Fighter Squadron (where u can fly x-wings, A-Wings, and Tie fighters) and Walker Assault (battlefront's biggest gamemode which i believe is 30 v 30).

Keep in mind there are not a lot of PC players on this game, however, i do not have problems finding matches.
For $20 i would recommend this game. BTW Amazon is selling it for $20 right now.
