This Thing? I've got one too!
I bought a gx4i2 at the end of last season and my brother has a tour x so I'm familiar with both. They're both great and give numbers fast but choosing one over the other is more about preference.
The tour x fits better in your hand but the 4i2 is smaller, and feels more solid in hand.
Jolt vibration is really nice and blows away leupold's beep lock system (I think I've had my 4i2 lock on twice since using it? compared to tour x jolting every time).
With 4i2 you can hold down the button and it will keep updating your distance readings which is really nice compared to constantly pressing the tour x to get new readings.
The 4i2's UI/hud is MUCH brighter and clearer especially on a bright day, but if you play at dusk this actually becomes a problem since it's so bright you have trouble seeing what you're looking at. The 4i2's numbers are bright and bold compared to the tour x's numbers being much less bright (4i2 is like 3x as bright, seriously) and also thinner.
I prefer the 4i2 since I like to hold down the button and sweep back and forth on the green looking at front, pin, back, and hazards. It's really nice for that, but if you just want to laser the pin, the tour x is much better (you can obviously laser everything else, but it's just more convenient with the 4i2).
They're both great and I'd be happy using either one.
My brother and I use these so the case differences are irrelevant to me.
