These are the Teva's I have. Nothing fancy but I liked that they didn't have a toe ring (what gave my sister blisters) and that they had added cushioning around the heel.
As for Doc Martens, I would love to branch to different styles, but I always get their boots. I've gotten their smooth, patent leather, and nappa. I have shiny brownish bronze ones, shiny black ones, and regular black ones for normal use, and for fun I have collectors ones. My favorite come from this page I wanted the Bosch or William Blake ones but they sold out so I ended up with the Di Antonio's and I love them! I get a lot of compliments and they are a sure statement piece.
My sister also collects and wears Doc Marten's every day and normally wears white, red, or black. We recently got my neice into Docs as well and she likes the glittery ones, sequin ones, and anything with fun or rainbow colors.
Currently I'm hoping to get some pastel peach colored ones for fall. The best part about docs is that the more beat up they get, the cooler they look and the more comfortable they are.
