the cat i haul around in there the most was like that too. the old plastic crate was always being peed in frequently, but this one she hasnt peed in yet after probably a dozen trips in it.
did she stop peeing in it because she likes the case better? not sure. but she has yet to soil this one so i am happy no matter the reason. there is also a removable bottom piece that can be washed, or just put an old towel in there just in case.
