I use a thermos.

My "recipe" is that I make 2 servings in the morning. 4 scoops of Soylent, 8 scoops of unsweetened almond milk, a scoop of unflavored protein powder, and ice cubes... blend. Makes for a decent and pretty refreshing (it's summer here in Phoenix) drink.
The thermos is amazing. All day long, it keeps the mixture cold. I just have a lid-ful every hour or so, and I'm good for the day.
Then I hit the gym, come home and have a 3rd serving (bringing it to about 2000kcal/day), and hit the sack.
My dude or dudette.... let me introduce you to my Soylent Sidekick

Make sure the Soylent's cold before you dump it in. This thing WILL maintain the same temp for 24+ hours regardless of where you keep it (fridge or counter).
Nah, as long as it's not one of those ginormous half-gallon coolers I've never gotten crap for filling up.

I use this and its amazing. Its huge, but it fits a whole day and a couple of ice cubes easily. Cleans up real nice too

Just don't use the little plastic screw-in valve thingy, because it'll melt. Put the suppressor inside, and then just screw the stainless cup / lid thing on top to close it.

Also, for taking the can on and off, Bowers made a suppressor cover called the "griptastic." I don't use covers, but if you cut this thing longitudinally it works well as something to grip a hot suppressor with.
Tacking onto this, if you are like most people and only want to drink protein shakes cold, you could invest in a Thermos bottle like this which should keep the shake cold through most of the day. Make your own gainer shake using things like protein powder, bananas, peanut butter, and oat powder. Or if you're lazy you can buy a gainer powder mix which is easy calories, but those are usually less nutritionally dense and the taste might not be as good.
Buy this and fill it with ice and water. Buy a wide-brimmed hat. Get some good sunglasses to prevent sun-blindness. Also get this cooling towel to help. Stay in the shade when possible and wear clothes that are light colored and made with breathable material.
